The WordPress community hold an annual conference called WordCamp Europe where users, developers, contributors, agencies and freelancers get together. This year it was in the beautiful city of Vienna, Austria and I was one of the design volunteers alongside Scott Evans and Sonja Leix. Between the three of us we designed printed and digital material for a conference of 2000 people, the largest to date.
Wapuu is a WordPress mascot. I designed two Wapuus for the event; one to represent the conference and one for the after party with a masquerade ball theme.

Volto (masked Wapuu)

Here is a giant version of Volto on screen behind one of the MCs, Ant Miller.
Scott and I designed the lanyard booklets. Each one comprised of twenty four pages containing three days of conference schedules, general information, a map and space for notes.
There were a range of stickers available including Wapuu sheets, Leopold Wapuu, contributor day stickers and a large WordCamp Europe conference sticker. Everyone loves stickers!
Overall, 160 volunteers and 20 organisers worked together to make WordCamp Europe 2016 happen.
